PHYTOREMEDATION
Phytoremediation is the depollution of soils, the purification of wastewater or the purification of indoor air, using vascular plants, algae or fungi. The plants selected for phytoextraction are chosen for their ability to extract large volumes of pollutants.

Benefits
Phytoremediation is greener and cheaper (up to 10x less) than conventional decontamination techniques.
However, phytoremediation requires a lot of patience (> 10 years)
